Change and Cancellation Policy for the Kiilopää Skiing Event

Changes and Cancellations

Through the self-service link, you can make the following changes free of charge until November 10, 2024:

• Transfer your participation to another skier.
• Switch your race category by paying the difference in the participation fee. No refund will be given if switching to a cheaper category.
• Change your skiing style (free/classic).
• Transfer your registration to the 2025 event.

For changes made after November 10, 2024, a change fee of 10 € will be charged.

Illness and Medical Reasons

If a participant cancels their registration, we will only refund the participation fee in the event of illness or injury, based on a doctor’s certificate.

Participation can be transferred to the next year’s event through the self-service link in the registration system.

Organizer’s Right to Cancel or Make Changes

If the Kiilopää Skiing Event must be canceled due to snow conditions or other circumstances beyond the organizer’s control (force majeure), the participation fee and registration will be transferred in full to the next year’s event.

If the route needs to be shortened or changed due to difficult snow conditions or other reasons beyond the organizer’s control, no refund will be given, and participants are not entitled to a price reduction or any other compensation.
